I truly believe how that practice can influence our body, heart, and mind. For example, by the time I presented my final presentation, I had been anxious and stressed. As a result, I got rid of these by breathing deeply. This way of breathing helped me controlling my brain and relieving my stress.
I agree that if we take a deep breath when we feel nervous or stress, we can calm our emotion. I don't know much about Yoga, but I think how to breath is really important to practice it . In my own experience, I also take a deep breath to calm down myself, especial whenever I have to stand front of a lot of people and talk.
It is absolutely clear that breathing can affect a lot to our mind and body; especially under the control. People have found out the benefits of it for thousand years ago via physical activities such as: meditation, Yoga, or even in martial arts, etc. For instance, we can do yoga or meditate to be serene and avoid being stressed out when we are under the pressure of daily work, family, or study. In my viewpoint, taking a deep breath is necessary to control our emotions and feelings when we feel stressed or worry about something and we can get lots of advantages when practicing it regularly in the right way.
I agree with this research because as they explained, breathing is a powerful way to relieve our stressful life. Also, according with this information, we have a wonderful power to control and change our mind and alleviate the pain on our body that makes us feel anxious every single day in life. There are several ways to handle stress such as: yoga and meditation that include breathing, concentration and relaxation.
By the way, I used to listen npr.org in the last semester, this is an useful web page.
I totally agree with what is mentioned about breathing in the lecture because I have experimented once while I was taking my final exam in high school. I was extremely stressed before we start, but suddenly I did a deep breath without even known what was it for. After doing that I was so relieved that I almost forgot that I was about to be taking my final exam. Thus, it is important sometime to breath in order to have the mind free.
I wholeheartedly agree with this modern medical treatment. Actually, people have been continuing yoga and meditation especially in Asian countries. Among them meditation is a grate medicine for control your mind. This will help us to reduce our stress. Buddhist people have been practicing how to concentrate our mind with breath every time when they go to temple. It helps to prevent irritating and create our mind to think positively. Think about what will going to be happened if our mind always full with heat and anger feeling. It will definitely affect your health in many ways such as you might seem much older than your exact age and your face color adapt to be pale etc. Simply you don’t look like present. However, in the modern society researchers have found that our breath can help us to get health.
I wrote comment but i did not log in yet, so it demand me to log in and my comment disappeared.....omg....i am so disappointed nowT.T what i wanted to say is that i am not sure breathing is really helpful to release stress. I think the thing that is more active than breathe deeply is more effective for me to cope with stress like crying with watching a movie or singing loudly in the karaoke. I breathed deeply and tried to think nothing or other thing to avoid stress, but it still came to my mind and made me upset. So, i think breathing can let me calm, but it just suppressed the stress. It cannot release my stress
I partially agree with what was said in the video.Breathing deeply can permit to reduce stress caused by anger, fear, excitement etc... However, when it comes to serious diseases,no matter how deep you breathe,it won't change change anything. That technique is only effective for minor situations.
