Pictures of our classes in my camera

Dear Holly, Scott and all of my friends, you are my very very first teachers and classmates and friends in US, so you guys mean a lot to me. I’m sure that I will never forget you. I always scare of saying goodbye, but it has to happen in our life, right? We have to adapt with it. I wanna say a lot but I don’t know how to say and how to express it. I love you so much. I hope Holly and Scott succeed in your career, be loved by all of your students. I wish all of my friends in 5C and 5D best lucks, happy and succeed. Remember to keep in touch. I say this but I think a lot of you’ve stopped using blogger since yesterday. Haha. It’s ok, we can contact by phone, facebook or Instagram ^^.
This is my email: haihoa179@gmail.com, email me whenever you want, my facebook: Hoa Nguyen, my Instagram: xoxo_tulip.
Finally, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Have a happy holiday and a great vacation. Hope to see you one day.
This is the link of all pictures that I took. Let’s try to find yourself in it. <3

A gift for you

Dear Students...

My dear Students of 5C and 5D:

So now that it's all over, I want to say congratulations to all of you for making progress this semester.

I want to say a special congratulations to Zhara and Valeria, who were chosen as outstanding students of their classes.

And I want to say a special thank you to Kant for making the wonderful video that is making everybody cry ;)

I really enjoyed teaching you guys this term. Each class was filled with special people and each had its own flavor but both classes were interesting and lots of fun. I always looked forward to coming to class and seeing all of you. We had good chemistry and lots of laughs. I will definitely miss you. We come from different places and backgrounds and yet we become like a family for 3 months so its hard and its sad to disband.

I hope you will stay in touch with me. If you're going to be at the LCC or at U of H, definitely come and visit me. If you're in Houston, please drop by when you can. In general, the best way to contact me is by email (holly_cin@yahoo.com) since as you know, I'm still not on facebook ;) My phone number is 713-721-3460. However, I don't check my messages frequently and often I can't even find the phone in the house, so as I said, the best way to reach me is by email.

If there's anything I can do for you (within the scope of my limited powers), please don't hesitate to ask. And if you hear about a party I'm having at my house, you're invited even if you don't get the evite ;)

I hope you have a wonderful vacation and that you return in safety and health. And I wish you only success as you continue down your life's exciting and adventurous journey.

I look forward to seeing you again soon and to hearing lots of good news :)

As a final listening exercise, I'd like you to watch the video posted above and post a comment!

Yours,
HC

5CD Class - FALL 2014

"Time flies." I think this phrase is perfect for describing how we are feeling at this point. For some of us, there are only some days left before we leave LCC and continue our new journey. It has already been 3 months since we first met each other in Holly's class. Now, here we are, feeling both relieved and sad at the same time about the fact that it's time to say good-bye.

In behalf of 5CD, I would like to say THANK YOU to the teachers and staffs. Thank you for your countless efforts to educate us, to teach us not only the language or culture, but also the numbers of soft skills which are very important for us to adapt the new life here in US. Thank you for always encourage us when we were stressed out with our personal problems. Finally, thank you for having trust in us and our future.

"We will never forget all good memories we had in class 5CD Fall 2014. Our past short three months here will last in our heart forever."

For Jianzua and El Hadj

Thank you so much for all of your help yesterday.

I brought Jianzua's backpack and El Hadj's blue shirt (I think it's yours) to the LCC office for you to pick up.
